Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science is organizing a continuing education workshop titled:

“Cement and the Industry of the Future: Between Construction and Development”

The workshop will be held on Thursday, 12 March 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Conference Hall of the Department of Chemistry.

The workshop aims to highlight the vital role of the cement industry in supporting construction and infrastructure projects, as well as to review the latest scientific advancements and technological trends that contribute to the development of this industry in line with sustainable development requirements.

The workshop will be delivered by:

• Assistant Lecturer Saad Hassani Sultan
• Assistant Lecturer Hanan Mahmoud Ahmed
• Dr. Hiba Abdul Salam Mohammed

The participation fee is 5,000 IQD, and attendance is open to faculty members, students, and researchers interested in the field.
