As part of supporting postgraduate studies and promoting scientific research, Assistant Professor Dr. Warqaa Saeed Qasim Al-Ta’i, a faculty member in the Department of Biology at the College of Science – University of Mosul, participated as a member of the examination committee for a Master’s thesis submitted by the student Hanan Thabit Saleh, entitled:

“Purification and Characterization of Laccase Enzyme Produced from a Basidiomycete Fungus and Evaluation of Its Medical and Environmental Activity.”

The defense was held on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at Dr. Awad Shaban Dawood Hall, College of Science – Tikrit University, in the presence of a group of specialized professors. The thesis was thoroughly discussed from a scientific perspective and was approved after fulfilling all academic requirements.

This participation reflects the ongoing efforts of the College of Science – University of Mosul in supporting scientific research and strengthening the role of faculty members and researchers in scientific and applied innovation, contributing to the advancement of postgraduate studies and the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
