Faculty Member from the College of Science Participates in a Master’s Thesis Defense Committee on Variability of Mosul Dam Lake Water Properties

As part of the scientific activities of the academic staff of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Sheet Mohammed Ramzi Taqa, a faculty member in the Department of Geology and Petroleum Sciences, served as a member of the examination committee for a master’s thesis entitled:

“A Study of Water Quality and the Application of a Model for Monitoring Variability in the Properties of Mosul Dam Lake Water.”

The thesis was submitted by the student Hanan Abdulrahman Khalaf Obeid from the College of Environmental Sciences, University of Mosul, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Fawzi Omar, on Monday, 9 March 2026.

The defense was conducted in an academic setting with the presence of the committee chair, members, and the supervisor, where the scientific and methodological aspects of the study were evaluated, and its findings were discussed in detail.

This participation reflects the ongoing efforts of faculty members at the College of Science to strengthen inter-college scientific collaboration, support research activities, and promote the exchange of academic expertise, ultimately contributing to the advancement of scientific and research standards.
