Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hayam Adel Ibrahim, the Department of Forensic Science at the College of Science, as part of its continuing education activities, is holding a scientific course entitled “Methods of DNA Detection and Identification.”

This course aims to introduce the latest methods and techniques used in extracting, detecting, and identifying DNA, and to highlight its crucial applications in the fields of forensics and medical research.

The course will be held from March 29 to April 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Hamdani Hall in the Department of Earth Sciences.

The course fee is 10,000 Iraqi Dinars.
