Three isolates were registered in the National Center for Biotechnology Information database.

A research team from the Department of Biology Sciences at the College of Science has registered three bacterial isolates in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database as part of its academic research activities.
The research was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Shaker Ghazi Jirjis, with the participation of research project students Rasel Mohammed Ghanem and Aya Essam Qasim.
The registered bacterial isolates belong to the species Myroides odoratus, Enterococcus hirae, and Proteus mirabilis. They were isolated from various canned and fresh food samples and identified using molecular methods based on 16sRNA gene sequencing. The genetic sequences were officially deposited in the NCBI GeneBank database under the following numbers:
1-px883726.1
2-px884208.1
3-px879189.1
This step comes within the framework of academic scientific research requirements and contributes to documenting the molecular data of bacterial isolates and making it available to researchers.
