Based on the directives of the president of the University, professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, the Deanship of the Faculty of science at the University of Mosul honored professor Dr. Laith Ahmed Najm in recognition of his outstanding scientific efforts in publishing scientific research in a sober International Journal indexed within Scopus and Clarivate and within the classification of the first quarter (Q1), in a step reflecting the interest of the college to support sober scientific research and enhance the presence of the University in international databases.

This honor came by awarding the researcher a financial reward of (4,000,000) four million Iraqi dinars, in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, and under the auspices of the president of the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, supporting scientific publication in international journals with a high coefficient of impact, encouraging outstanding scientific production and motivating researchers to continue scientific giving that contributes to raising the academic and research level of the University.

This honor comes as a confirmation of the college’s keenness to support outstanding researchers and motivate them to publish their research in reputable international scientific journals, in order to enhance the University’s Research status and contribute to consolidating its academic presence at the regional and international levels.
