A newly published enrichment academic textbook titled:

“Medical Aspects of Lipid Metabolism – Part Two (For Biological, Basic Medical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Students)”

has been released by Prof. Dr. Zina Abdul Moneim Al-Jawadi, Department of Chemistry, College of Science, University of Mosul, in collaboration with Prof. Emeritus Dr. Fadhil Jawad Al-Ta’ma, College of Medicine, University of Karbala.

The book is designed for undergraduate and postgraduate students (Master’s, PhD, and Iraqi Board programs) in the Colleges of Science, Medicine, and Pharmacy, within the disciplines of Biochemistry, Pathological Biochemistry, and Biology.

The publication addresses advanced medical and biological aspects of lipid metabolism, contributing to the enhancement of scientific knowledge and the modernization of academic content in line with recent developments in the field.

This work aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Mosul, and the College of Science, aiming to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:

• Goal 4: Quality Education, through the development and updating of academic curricula
• Goal 5: Gender Equality in Education
• Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by strengthening academic integrity
