With the grace of Almighty Allah, the Department of Physics, College of Science, University of Mosul, will hold the Master’s thesis defense of Mr. Miqdad Nayef Ghaib Al-Hamdani for his thesis entitled:

“The Effect of the Air Gap Between Electrodes on the Performance of a Hemispherical Energy Analyzer”

The thesis aims to investigate the design simulation of energy analyzers and to clarify the impact of geometric parameters, particularly the air gap between electrodes, on the accuracy and efficiency of energy analysis in physical systems. The study is expected to contribute to the development and optimization of laboratory measurement instruments.

The thesis defense will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, 19 April 2026, in the Discussion Hall of the Department of Physics.
