Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and in recognition of his continuous support for researchers and his commitment to promoting scientific research, the Presidency of the University of Mosul organized a ceremony to honor researchers and students who have published their work in prestigious Scopus-indexed journals ranked in the first (Q1) and second (Q2) quartiles. The ceremony was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, in appreciation of their outstanding scientific achievements and valuable contributions to advancing the University’s research profile.

The Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, participated in the ceremony, during which a number of the College’s postgraduate students were honored in recognition of their scientific excellence and research productivity.

The honorees included Ph.D. student Omar Najm Sultan from the Department of Biology, M.Sc. student Maha Ahmed Hamad from the Department of Chemistry, and M.Sc. student Enas Ismail Majeed from the Department of Physics, in appreciation of their distinguished research contributions and their success in publishing high-quality papers in internationally recognized journals.
