The Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of science at the University of Mosul, as part of continuing education activities, held on Sunday morning, October 18, 2026, a scientific workshop entitled “The role of inorganic and analytical chemistry in environmental, industrial and biomedical applications”. The workshop discussed the importance of inorganic and analytical chemistry and their applications in the environmental, industrial and biomedical fields, their role in quality control and analysis of raw materials and industrial products, as well as the use of analytical techniques in addressing applied problems and enhancing scientific research. The workshop was presented by the teacher Dr. Heba Farouk Mohammed Amin, the assistant professor Dr. Basma Ahmed Abdul Hadi, the teacher Dr. Samir Saadallah Ezzat, and the assistant teacher Shaima Nayef Messer. Our wishes to the workshop organizers are good luck and success, and to continue scientific and academic giving.
