🚨 College of Science Enhances Safety Measures
As part of its ongoing efforts to provide a safe and supportive academic environment—and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 4 (Quality Education)—the College of Science at the University of Mosul has completed the installation of an external emergency staircase at the Department of Biology building, to serve as a secure evacuation route in case of emergencies.
This initiative is one of several proactive measures adopted by the College Deanery to strengthen safety and prevention protocols. These efforts include the installation of modern fire suppression systems, clearly marked and compliant emergency exits, and continued improvements to meet occupational safety standards and university regulations.
The Deanery reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to implementing the highest safety standards to protect students and staff, ensuring a resilient and secure academic environment that supports the continuity and sustainability of the educational process.
