The Department of Earth Sciences at the College of Science, University of Mosul, held a defense for a master’s thesis titled:
“Biostratigraphy of Calcareous Nannofossils of the K-T Boundary in Safiya-16 Well, Safiya Oil Field, Northwestern Iraq”
on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The thesis was presented by Anfal Abduljabbar Saeed Younis, with the presence of faculty members and postgraduate students.
