Professor Dr. Firas Mohammed Ali, a college member in the Physics Department at the College of Science, participated as a member of the doctoral dissertation defense committee for student Suhaib Latif Sadaa on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Tikrit University/College of Science.

The dissertation, titled “A Study of the Structural and Geometric Properties of Diamond Nanoparticles Containing Nuclear, Thermal, and Renewable Energy Defects and Related Technologies,” addressed an advanced scientific topic that aligns with recent developments in nanomaterials physics and its applications in various energy sectors.

This scientific participation comes within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation among Iraqi universities and supporting the research endeavors of postgraduate students, thus contributing to raising the scientific and research standards.

At the conclusion of the defense, the Dean of the College of Science at Tikrit University presented Professor Dr. Firas Mohammed Ali with a letter of appreciation in recognition of his scientific efforts and active participation on the committee.
