By the will of Allah Almighty, the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science will hold the defense of the PhD dissertation submitted by the student Saba Hazim Sadiq Hassan, entitled:

“The Use of Alternating Polymers in the Fabrication of Optoelectronic Devices.”

The dissertation aims to study and develop alternating polymers and exploit their unique physical and chemical properties in the fabrication of optoelectronic devices. This research contributes to the advancement of renewable energy technologies and modern electronic devices based on organic polymer materials.

The defense will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, 18 May 2026, in Professor Dr. Youssef Abdullah Shihab Hall for Discussions, Department of Chemistry.
