Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Science is organizing a workshop entitled:

“Updating Academic Staff Data on the RIS Platform.”

The workshop aims to achieve the following academic and organizational objectives:

• Introducing the RIS platform and explaining how to use it effectively.
• Explaining the procedures for uploading and documenting scientific outputs and academic research.
• Facilitating the electronic management of faculty information and data.
• Providing a detailed guide to updating academic staff records.
• Enhancing the accuracy of the College’s and University’s academic and research databases.
• Addressing common issues and challenges that faculty members may encounter while using the platform.

The workshop will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, 17 May 2026, in Dr. Farouk Al-Omari Hall.

The workshop will be delivered by:

• Lecturer Dr. Ibtisam Yahya Abdullah
• Assistant Lecturer Hala Munir Yahya

The workshop is intended for all faculty members of the College, and participation is free of charge.

The Scientific Affairs Unit invites all academic staff to attend and actively participate, given the workshop’s importance in supporting, developing, and documenting the College’s research and academic achievements.
