Assistant Professor Dr. Nihal Izzat Juma, a faculty member at the College of Science, University of Mosul, has been awarded a Letter of Appreciation by the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, in recognition of her distinguished scientific efforts.

This recognition was granted in appreciation of her contribution to the registration of four newly identified bacterial strains isolated from Staphylococcus aureus bacteria obtained from wound infection cases in the city of Mosul. The strains were successfully deposited in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database, contributing to the advancement of scientific research and the documentation of molecular data at the international level.

This achievement reflects the commitment of the faculty members of the College of Science to actively contribute to the development of scientific research and community service through the application of modern techniques in biological and molecular studies.
