Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Department of New and Renewable Energy at the College of Science is organizing, within the activities of continuing education, a workshop entitled: “Nanoscience: Discoveries and Applications Toward a Sustainable Future.”

The workshop aims to explore the horizons of nanotechnology and the latest scientific discoveries in this field, highlighting its wide-ranging applications in energy, environment, and applied sciences, in line with the university’s vision for achieving sustainable development and technological innovation.

The workshop will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Ibn Sina Hall at the Department of New and Renewable Energy.

The lectures will be delivered by:

• Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamia Adnan Sarsam
• Lecturer Dr. Ibtisam Yahya Abdullah

The participation fee is 2,000 IQD.

The department invites all interested faculty members, students, and researchers in nanotechnology to attend and actively participate.
