The Department of New and Renewable Energy, College of Science – University of Mosul, organized a guidance session for its students in preparation for the upcoming final examinations. The session was held in the University of Mosul gardens under the supervision of academic mentors responsible for the different study stages, with the participation of several faculty members from the department.

The meeting addressed examination instructions and grading distribution mechanisms, in addition to regulations governing attendance, absence, and deferment in accordance with approved ministerial guidelines. Students were also guided on the importance of effective time management and its optimal use to achieve academic excellence.

The organizers emphasized the necessity of adhering to the official examination schedules and following the instructions of examination committees, along with clarifying the distribution of final grades between coursework and final examinations according to the adopted academic system.

The session witnessed active engagement from students, who raised questions and discussed their academic and research needs, with faculty members providing guidance and clarifications. For fourth-year students, the session highlighted the importance of completing graduation projects, including submission deadlines, discussion schedules, evaluation criteria, and the necessity of continuous communication with supervisors to ensure project quality.

The meeting concluded with a strong emphasis on compliance with academic instructions and deadlines to ensure timely completion of graduation requirements, in an interactive atmosphere aimed at supporting students and enhancing their academic progress.
