Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Department of New and Renewable Energies at the College of Science, within the framework of its Continuing Education activities, is organizing a training course entitled:

“Producing Low-Cost, High-Efficiency Solar Cells Through Simplified Methods”

The course aims to highlight modern and innovative technologies for manufacturing solar cells using low-cost materials, as well as introducing simplified scientific approaches to improving energy conversion efficiency. These efforts contribute to advancing sustainable and technologically accessible energy solutions.

The course will be held from 19–27 April 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Ibn Sina Hall, Department of New and Renewable Energies.

The lectures will be delivered by:

• Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Munir Suhail
• Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Younis
• Assist. Lecturer Zainab Abdulaziz Jameel

The participation fee for the course is 2,000 Iraqi Dinars.
