Third Day of the National Evaluation Team’s Visit to Review the Eligibility of the Chemistry and Physics Programs at the College of Science, University of Mosul

The National Evaluation Team of the National Council for Accreditation of Science Programs continued its review activities on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, as part of its visit to assess the eligibility of the Chemistry and Physics programs at the College of Science, University of Mosul.
The third day of the visit included the continuation of field inspections of the scientific laboratories in both the Chemistry and Physics Departments. The team reviewed the laboratories’ facilities, technical capabilities, and readiness to support the practical aspects of the educational process.
The evaluation team also held a meeting with graduates of both departments, including a number of professionals working in laboratories, industrial facilities, and related sectors. Discussions focused on the extent to which the learning outcomes of the two programs align with labor market requirements, as well as gathering feedback and recommendations to further strengthen the practical and professional dimensions of the programs.
In addition, the team conducted a tour of the College Deanery, where they reviewed various administrative units, including the Registration and Planning Divisions. The visit examined data management, documentation procedures, organizational practices, and their compliance with academic accreditation requirements.
This visit forms part of the comprehensive evaluation process aimed at ensuring that the Chemistry and Physics programs meet the requirements of academic accreditation and continue to enhance the quality of education offered by the College of Science.
The College of Science reaffirms its ongoing commitment to developing its educational and research environment and advancing the quality of its academic programs in accordance with national and international standards.
