College of Science at the University of Mosul Supervises the Joint Examination in the Department of Medical Physics at Al-Kitab University

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and as part of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, the College of Science at the University of Mosul delegated a specialized academic committee to supervise the joint examination at Al-Kitab University.

The committee was chaired by the Head of the Department of Medical Physics, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Mohammed Fakhri, with the membership of Lecturer Dr. Jasim Mohammed Yaseen Ahmed and Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ahmed. The committee was entrusted with the direct supervision of the examination process.

The joint examination was conducted on Sunday, 12 April 2026, at the College of Science, Al-Kitab University, targeting second- and third-year students enrolled in the Department of Medical Physics during the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

The committee closely monitored all organizational and administrative procedures related to the examination to ensure smooth implementation, maintain the highest standards of discipline, and ensure compliance with the regulations and guidelines approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for joint examinations between public and private universities.

This activity reflects ongoing efforts to support the quality of the educational process and strengthen academic integration among higher education institutions, contributing to the enhancement of students’ academic standards and reinforcing the principles of effective partnership within Iraq’s higher education sector.

At the conclusion of the visit, the committee emphasized the importance of continuing such collaborative academic initiatives due to their significant role in exchanging expertise, unifying academic perspectives, and improving higher education outcomes in line with scientific and technological advancements.
