Scientific Visit by Students of the College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies to the Central Laboratory at the College of Science

As part of efforts to strengthen scientific cooperation and academic integration among the colleges of the University of Mosul, the Central Laboratory at the College of Science welcomed third-year students from the College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies on a scientific visit aimed at enhancing their practical and applied learning experience.
During the visit, the laboratory staff provided a comprehensive overview of the major scientific instruments and technologies available in the Central Laboratory, explaining their operating principles and highlighting their key applications in laboratory analyses and advanced scientific research. The students were also introduced to the practical applications of these instruments and their role in supporting environmental studies and scientific research, contributing to the development of their scientific skills and strengthening the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory work.
The visit witnessed active engagement from the students, who raised numerous questions and inquiries that were addressed by the laboratory staff. The students emphasized the importance of such scientific visits in enhancing their research capabilities and familiarizing them with the laboratory facilities and resources available at the university.
This visit comes within the framework of the university colleges’ ongoing efforts to promote scientific collaboration and exchange expertise among academic departments, thereby contributing to the advancement of educational and research standards at the University of Mosul.
