Department of New and Renewable Energy Organizes Continuing Education Workshop on “Oil Pollution: Devastating Impacts on the Environment and Human Health”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Department of Renewable Energy at the College of Science is organizing a continuing education workshop titled “Oil Pollution: Devastating Impacts on the Environment and Human Health.”

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Ibn Sina Hall, Department of Renewable Energy.

The workshop aims to highlight the dangers of oil pollution and its negative impacts on the environment and human health, as well as to discuss the most important scientific approaches to mitigating this phenomenon and enhancing environmental awareness within society.

The workshop will be delivered by:

  • Associate Professor Dr. Lubna Abdulaziz Saleh
  • Assistant Professor Dr. Hamad Abdullah Saleh

The event is open to faculty members, students, and those interested in environmental issues.
