The President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, has awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to Professor Dr. Zina Abdulmunim Al-Jawadi, a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry, and PhD student Raghad Abdulmawjood from the College of Science. The recognition also includes a one-month seniority increment for promotion and salary progression purposes.

This recognition was granted in appreciation of their achievement in registering a new genetic pattern of the FABP4 gene in the global gene database at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), reflecting a significant scientific contribution in the field of molecular genetics.
