Scientific Visit by College of Science Students to Al-Noor University within the Framework of Academic and Cultural Cooperation

As part of strengthening academic and cultural cooperation between higher education institutions, fostering knowledge integration, and promoting the exchange of expertise, and under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Student Activities Division, in cooperation with the Guidance Division and within its scouting and cultural programs, organized a scientific visit for a group of students from the College’s scientific departments to Al-Noor University on Monday, 16 February 2026.
The visiting delegation was warmly received by a number of Al-Noor University faculty members, who arranged a scientific tour that included several specialized laboratories. During the visit, students were introduced to the latest equipment and technologies utilized in the laboratories of the Colleges of Dentistry, Anesthesia, and Clinical Chemistry, as well as laser and cosmetic technology laboratories. This provided students with valuable opportunities to enhance their practical knowledge and connect theoretical concepts with modern technologies in an advanced educational environment.
The visit also featured introductory lectures delivered by specialized academic staff, who presented the mechanisms of laboratory work and highlighted the significance of technological advancements in supporting educational and research activities. These sessions enabled students to gain direct insight into practical applications and broaden their scientific perspectives.
The visit concluded with a discussion session held in the library of Al-Noor University, where students shared their reflections on the experience. They emphasized that both public and private education institutions pursue the common goal of advancing scientific development and encouraging scientific, literary, and cultural talents, thereby serving society and preparing qualified academic cadres capable of keeping pace with modern developments.
