Under the close follow-up and guidance of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, paid a visit to Umm Al-Rabieen Hospital on Thursday, 19 February 2026, to check on the health of Roaa Mustafa, a Sudanese student in the Department of Medical Physics, First Stage, following her appendectomy surgery, which was successfully performed on Wednesday, 18 February 2026.

Throughout her stay in the hospital, the student was accompanied by a team from the College of Science, reflecting the College’s commitment to monitoring her health condition and providing the necessary care and support during her recovery period.

The Dean’s visit also included an inspection of the university dormitories to ensure that suitable accommodation arrangements would be available for the student upon her recovery and return to campus life, enabling her to resume her studies in a comfortable and supportive environment.

The College of Science extends its sincere wishes to Roaa Mustafa for a speedy recovery and continued good health and well-being.
