College of Science | Renewed Creativity and Continued Excellence

The College of Science is pleased to announce the issuance of the official university order approving the establishment of a Master’s Program in New and Renewable Energy Sciences within the Department of New and Renewable Energies, marking the first program of its kind in the department following the completion of all required approvals from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This achievement comes as part of the continuous support provided by the Presidency of the University of Mosul, represented by the President of the University, Prof. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, in strengthening postgraduate studies and advancing the university’s scientific and research mission.

The establishment of the program is the result of the dedicated efforts of the College of Science, represented by the Dean of the College, Prof. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, under the supervision and follow-up of the Head of the Department of New and Renewable Energies, Assist. Prof. Ahmed Munir Suhail, and through the constructive cooperation of the Postgraduate Studies Division, the department’s academic staff, and college personnel in fulfilling all requirements and standards for launching the program.

The newly established Master’s program aims to prepare highly qualified scientific specialists capable of contributing to the advancement of scientific research and providing innovative technological and environmental solutions in the field of renewable energy. It also seeks to promote sustainability concepts and support the adoption of clean energy sources, thereby contributing to the development of our country.

The College of Science reaffirms its commitment to supporting distinguished academic initiatives, encouraging research and innovation, and enhancing the scientific standing of the University of Mosul while helping students achieve their aspirations in serving society and the nation.
