Faculty meeting of the Department of new and renewable energies

The Department of new and renewable energies at the Faculty of Science held, on Monday, September 7, 2026, a faculty meeting, chaired by the head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mounir Suhail, in the presence of the Department’s rapporteur, Dr. Zeinab Abdul Aziz, and with the participation of faculty members. The meeting began with a welcome to the faculty members, and then a number of academic and administrative topics related to preparations for the new academic year were discussed, foremost of which was the preparation of the necessary plans to ensure the start of the educational process and its optimal flow. The meeting also discussed ways to enhance research activity and encourage teachers to register scientific research for the current year, which contributes to supporting the scientific March of the Department, improving academic performance, achieving national quality and accreditation requirements, as well as continuing to develop the level of education in line with the requirements of international academic classifications. The meeting also discussed the preparation of the teaching load and curricula for the new academic year, in order to ensure the proper organization of the educational process and the achievement of the requirements of the study plan. It was also stressed the importance of coordination and cooperation between faculty members, following up on the needs of students and providing an appropriate educational environment, as well as enhancing the scientific and research aspects of the department, in order to support the college’s directions in developing its academic programs and achieving its scientific goals. This meeting comes within the preparations of the Department of new and renewable energies for the start of the new academic year, and its keenness to organize academic and administrative work and raise the level of performance to serve the students and the scientific career of the department and the college.
