Under the patronage of the president of the University of Mosul, Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Hiam Adel Ibrahim, the committee for women’s affairs at the Faculty of Science, in cooperation with the women’s Affairs Unit at the university presidency, the Student Activities Division, the volunteer work unit, and in partnership with the Nineveh health department, held a training course entitled “The role of emergency first aid and Civil Defense procedures”. The course was held in the discussion Hall of the Department of Earth and petroleum Sciences, and was attended by Mr. Suhail Dawood Abdullah and Mr. Anmar Khalaf Abdullah. The course aimed to introduce the basics of first aid, safety procedures, Civil Defense and evacuation, and how to deal optimally with emergency situations. At the end of the course, the head of the Department of Earth and petroleum Sciences, assistant professor Dr. Omar khalouq, on behalf of the dean, Professor Dr. Hiam Adel Ibrahim, presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to Mr. Suhail Dawood Abdullah, the course director, in appreciation of his valuable efforts and the valuable information he provided during the course.
