Within the framework of enhancing scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi universities, Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Amin al – Haj, a lecturer at the Department of Earth and petroleum sciences at the Faculty of science-Mosul University, participated in the membership of the doctoral dissertation discussion Committee at the Faculty of science, Salah al-Din University, on Thursday, October 1, 2026. The committee discussed the thesis tagged “Sedimentology and Sequence geography of Lower Jurassic Formations in Selected Sections from Iraqi Kurdistan Region – Northern Iraq”, submitted by doctoral student Irfan Shaaban Asaad. On behalf of the dean of the Faculty of Science A.Dr. Abdul Karim Yassin Karim, the assistant dean for Scientific Affairs, presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Amin al-Haj, in appreciation of his participation in the discussion of the thesis and his taking the trouble to travel to participate in the scientific committee. The participation of the Faculty of science teachers in scientific discussions outside the University comes as a confirmation of their academic presence and their contribution to supporting scientific research, enhancing scientific cooperation and exchanging experiences between Iraqi higher education institutions. We wish the professors and teachers of our college continued success, giving and scientific excellence.
