Registration of Twenty-One New Bacterial Strains in the Global Gene Bank
Mayss Abdulnafea2026-06-22T09:13:44+00:00In a scientific achievement that adds to the distinguished research record of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Riyan Mazin Faisal, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, in collaboration with M.Sc. student Zaina Salim Mohammed Najeeb, successfully registered twenty-one new bacterial strains belonging to the species Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the global gene bank of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The strains were registered under the accession numbers PX925921–PX925941 after being locally isolated from clinical samples collected in the city of Mosul.
