Mayss Abdulnafea2026-06-22T09:36:51+00:00A research team from the Department of Biology at our college has successfully registered four bacterial strains in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database, as part of its ongoing academic research activities. The study was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Nihal Izzat Jumaa, with the participation of research project students Ghufran Rafae Ibrahim and Zina Khaled Ahmed. The registered bacterial isolates belong to Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), which were isolated from wound infection cases and identified using molecular methods based on the analysis and sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene.
