College Delegation Conducts Field Visit to Mosul Orphanage

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and with the support and supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Dr. Saad Ramadan Mohammed Al-Jubouri, a delegation from the College conducted a field visit on Sunday, 24 August 2025, to the boys’ and girls’ orphanage in Mosul. The visit reflects the College’s ongoing efforts to strengthen social and humanitarian ties between the University and state institutions.

The delegation included Dr. Saeed Khadeeja Qolo, Head of the Human Rights Division at the University Presidency; Prof. Dr. Nidal Muwaiid Malallah, Head of the History Department; Lecturer Asma Khalid Jirjis, Sustainable Development Liaison Officer; and Assistant Lecturer Saba Salem Sheet, Head of the Human Rights Unit at the College.

During the visit, the delegation met with the orphanage management, assessed the essential needs of the children, and provided key supplies. The visit also highlighted initiatives under the University and College’s sustainable development program, including proposals aimed at supporting the orphanage, which will be submitted to the relevant authorities in line with the University’s strategic vision.
