Dr. Reem Ali Talib, a faculty member in Department of Architecture Engineering at  College of Engineering, University of Mosul, participated in a scientific initiative within the field of engineering sciences entitled “The Baba Gurgur Encyclopedia for Academic Women and Sustainable Development in Iraq.” The initiative was held under the patronage of Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and supervised by Baba Gurgur Private University.

Dr. Reem was honored among the distinguished female academics in engineering disciplines following a scientific evaluation based on a number of academic criteria and her contributions to sustainable development initiatives and academic activities.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to document the achievements of Iraqi academic women through the establishment of a specialized national database that highlights their scientific and research contributions, while supporting and promoting the role of female academics in advancing academic and research development in Iraq.
