Under the kind patronage of the president of the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and under the direct supervision and continuous follow-up of the dean of the College of science, professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim al-Taie, the new issue of the Iraqi National Journal of Geosciences, Volume (25), Issue (4) for the year 2025, was issued, including 31 refereed scientific papers in various disciplines of Geosciences.

The journal is considered one of the leading scientific journals in its field, classified among Scopus global publications, where it continues its academic career regularly and with high quality, thanks to the fruitful efforts of the editor-in-chief, editorial staff, evaluators and researchers.

On this occasion, the dean of the College of Science, Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim al-Taie, praises the great and sincere efforts exerted by the editor-in-chief, members of the editorial board and residents, for their sober scientific work that contributed to enhancing the level of the Journal and elevating it to the ranks of internationally recognized journals, stressing the college’s continuous support for every effort that contributes to the scientific research service and the advancement of Iraqi universities in international academic forums.
