Joint Examination Conducted Between the University of Mosul and Al-Kitab University in Medical Physics

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, the Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science, University of Mosul, organized a joint examination with the Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science, Al-Kitab University, on Sunday, 12 April 2026, for second- and third-year students enrolled in the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
The examination was held under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, with the follow-up of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim Al-Taie, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Medical Physics, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Mohammed Fakhri.
This joint examination aims to reinforce academic rigor and standardize assessment mechanisms among corresponding departments, while promoting the exchange of scientific expertise and contributing to the advancement of education in the field of Medical Physics.
The examination process was conducted under the direct supervision of the heads of both departments and with the close monitoring of the examination committees, which ensured the provision of a well-organized examination environment that upheld the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and quality.
The College of Science at the University of Mosul emphasized that such initiatives represent a significant step toward building effective academic partnerships with Iraqi universities, supporting scientific development and enhancing the quality of educational outcomes in the field of Medical Physics.
At the conclusion of this academic activity, the Deanship of the College of Science extended its sincere wishes for continued success and excellence to its students and faculty members, expressing hope that similar collaborative initiatives will continue to strengthen the educational process and further elevate academic standards across higher education institutions.
