With the grace of Almighty Allah, the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, University of Mosul, will hold the Master’s thesis defense of Mr. Omar Sami Hamad Sultan for his thesis entitled:

“Improving the Quality of Petroleum Products Using Nanocatalysts”

The thesis aims to investigate and develop innovative techniques utilizing nanocatalysts to enhance the efficiency and quality of petroleum products. It also highlights the role of nanotechnology in improving refining processes, reducing impurities, and supporting both the petroleum industry and environmental sustainability.

The thesis defense will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, in Prof. Dr. Yousif Abdullah Shihab Hall for Discussions.
