College of Science Honors Its Staff Participating in the “Bridge of Mercy” Project in Recognition of Their Humanitarian Efforts

When the university becomes a space for humanitarian action, and knowledge is placed at the service of humanity above all else, the true values of an academic institution emerge as an active partner in community development and the promotion of solidarity and social cohesion. Community initiatives are not merely voluntary activities; they are a practical embodiment of the university’s mission and its national and humanitarian role.
The College of Science proudly honors its staff members who participated in the “Bridge of Mercy” Project, launched by the University of Mosul in the village of Batnaya from December 20–25, 2025. Through their outstanding humanitarian contributions, they demonstrated a strong sense of social responsibility and institutional commitment, reflecting the university’s genuine role in serving the community.
Through their field participation, the college staff presented a distinguished model of university service, contributing to supporting local residents, addressing community needs, strengthening social solidarity, and promoting teamwork in a manner consistent with the university’s mission and noble objectives.
This recognition serves as an appreciation for sincere field efforts that went beyond routine professional duties, reflecting a high level of awareness of the importance of volunteer work and its role in supporting community stability while reinforcing the values of giving, belonging, and humanitarian responsibility.
The celebration reaffirms the firm belief that community service represents one of the fundamental pillars of university work, and that humanitarian initiatives involving university staff constitute an essential bridge of trust and communication between academic institutions and society.
On this occasion, we highly commend the efforts of all participants in this blessed humanitarian project and congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to the continuation of such initiatives, driven by a responsible humanitarian spirit, thoughtful leadership, and sincere dedication.
