In the framework of enhancing academic cooperation and supporting the scientific research process, Assistant Professor Dr. Saadoun Hussein Abdullah, Teaching at the Physics Department of the Faculty of Science – University of Mosul, participated in the membership of the committee to discuss the master’s thesis submitted by the student Firas Abdullah Mahmoud, tagged: “Design and evaluation of adaptive Smart s-boxes for system resource-based block encryption algorithms” The discussion took place on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in the discussion hall at the Faculty of Computer Science and mathematics at the University of Mosul, in the presence of a group of professors and researchers. The message addressed the design and evaluation of smart and adaptive S-Boxes used in block encryption algorithms, relying on system resources, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of encryption systems and raising the level of protection and cybersecurity, in line with modern developments in the field of Information Security. The discussion witnessed a thorough scientific dialogue about the themes of the thesis and its results, and ended with its approval after meeting the approved scientific requirements. The participation of assistant professor Dr. Saadoun Hussein Abdullah in the scientific committees reflects the academic status enjoyed by the Faculty of science teachers, and their active role in supporting graduate studies and enhancing scientific cooperation between the faculties of the University.
