Dr. Noor Mazen, a lecturer at the Department of medical physics at the Faculty of Sciences – University of Mosul, received a book of thanks and appreciation, in appreciation of her response to the invitation of the eastern Mediterranean Health Journal (EMHJ) of the World Health Organization for the eastern Mediterranean region (WHO), and her participation in the evaluation of one of the scientific research submitted for publication in the Journal and the completion of the evaluation process. The Journal of Health for the eastern Mediterranean is one of the international scientific journals indexed in the Scopus, Web of Science (Clarivate) and PubMed/MEDLINE databases, with an impact factor of 1.9, while it is classified within the third quarter Q3 in the Scopus database, and in some sub-disciplines within the second quarter Q2. This scientific participation comes within the framework of the Faculty of science teachers ‘ contributions to the work of Arbitration and scientific evaluation of international journals, and enhancing the academic presence of the faculty in the fields of research and scientific publishing.
