M.Sc. final defense of a thesis entitled “Improving the Visual Quality of Scanning Electron Microscopy Images Using a Multistage Processing Algorithm”
M.Sc. Thesis Final DefenseAs part of the academic activities of our college and the department of Computer Science, Zaid Natiq Abdulqadir has successfully passed his M.Sc. final defense of a thesis entitled “Improving the Visual Quality of Scanning Electron Microscopy Images Using a Multistage Processing Algorithm” in October 30, 2022 (Sunday).Zaid has developed and implemented an approach that is based on a multi-level enhancement technique for SEM images. The main objectives of the proposed approach are:
- Develop an approach for enhancing SEM images.
- Increasing the sharpness of the SEM images using the developed approach.
- Developing an algorithm for enhancing both the sharpness and the contrast of the SEM images.The scientific committee included the following members:
