An educational and awareness-raising seminar was held for students entitled: Hope is the path to life: Ways to prevent the dangers and causes of suicide.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, the University Psychological Counseling Unit held an educational and awareness-raising seminar for students entitled: “Hope: The Path to Life: Ways to Prevent the Dangers and Causes of Suicide,” on April 6, 2026. The seminar aimed to guide students towards positive thinking and to encourage them to seek help from professors or family members when facing problems or difficulties. It also aimed to raise awareness among young people about the dangers of despair, with the goal of contributing to building a conscious generation that promotes security, stability, and a healthy life. Furthermore, the seminar reminded and educated young people of the religious prohibition against suicide. The seminar also addressed the Sustainable Development Goals: 1- Goal 4: Quality Education
2- Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
3- Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities
4- Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
