Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, the University Psychological Counseling Unit held an educational and awareness-raising lecture for students entitled: “Drug Awareness,” on April 6, 2026. The lecture, delivered by specialists in the field of drug control, aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug use and to encourage them to seek help from their families or relevant authorities to protect themselves from experimenting with drugs, which can lead to health, psychological, and financial harm to both the individual and society. The lecture also explained the legal procedures for seeking treatment through specialized agencies and clarified the specific laws in this area.
