Holding a continuing education course entitled “Introduction to Linux”

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a course entitled “Introduction to Linux” as part of its Continuing Education Series.

Objective:
The Linux operating system is an open-source system used for managing computers and servers. It is widely used in the fields of programming, networking, and cybersecurity.
The course aims to introduce learners to the fundamentals of the Linux operating system. It focuses on explaining the Linux environment, how to work with basic commands, and how to manage files and folders. The course enables learners to use the command line (Terminal) efficiently and understand how to install programs and manage the system in a simple and practical way. This course is an essential step for anyone wishing to enter the field of information technology or software development.
