Seminar titled “Models Fitting” for the Mathematics Department

The Department of Mathematics at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a seminar on Tuesday, 22/4/2026, titled * Models Fitting *, presented by (Asst. Lect. Raghad Abdulaziz Mustafa, Asst. Lect. Shahla Muayyad Khalil, and Asst. Lect. Zeena Faleh Saleh).

Seminar Summary:

This seminar discusses model fitting using mathematical methods to accurately represent experimental data. It focuses on the least squares method to minimize errors and select the best model using the MSE criterion, with a practical application of linear regression for predicting future values.

The College of Computer Science and Mathematics is holding an awareness lecture on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day.
