We are pleased to announce the establishment of a PhD program in Statistics and Data at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Department of Statistics and Informatics, for the academic year 2026–2027, following the necessary ministerial approvals.

This initiative is supported by the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and overseen by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, as part of the College’s commitment to developing and expanding its graduate programs to keep pace with modern scientific advancements.

It is hoped that this program will contribute to preparing qualified professionals specializing in statistics and data analysis, supporting scientific research, and meeting the needs of the job market in these vital fields.
