Holding a continuing education course entitled: “The Fundamentals of the TORA Program”

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah,

The College of Computer Science and Mathematics, as part of its Continuing Education Series, held a course entitled:

“Fundamentals of the TORA Program” on April 26, 2026

in the discussion hall at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics.

The TORA program (Tora Optimization System) is an educational software tool specializing in solving operations research problems. It is designed as an educational tool to help students and researchers understand how mathematical algorithms work step-by-step, rather than simply providing the final result. The program provides interfaces for solving a wide range of operations research problems, such as linear programming, transportation models, network analysis, and more.
