The Memory of Clay: Cuneiform- Inspired Method to Digital Data Longevity

Objective:

The workshop aims to:

1- Introducing the historical importance of cuneiform tablets (stored on clay or stone tablets) and simulating them as an effective means of preserving information over time.

2- Highlighting the challenges facing contemporary data preservation techniques.

3- Presentation of the 3D QR code technology for 3D uses.

4- Presenting a proposed method for preserving digital data that combines a solid tablet and a three-dimensional quick response code.
