A master’s thesis entitled “Design and Evaluation of Adaptive Smart S-Boxes for System Resource-Based Block Encryption Algorithms” was discussed in the discussion hall of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

The thesis was presented by student Firas Abdullah Mahmoud and supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Uday Hashim Saeed.

The thesis addressed the development of an adaptive framework for multimedia encryption.

The study explored the encryption of text, images, and video using dynamic replacement tables.

The thesis aimed to enhance security and randomness while maintaining performance efficiency.
