Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, the College organized a course titled “Linear Regression and Its Applications in Regression Analysis” as part of the Continuing Education program for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The course aimed to:

Introduce the fundamental concepts of linear regression and its importance in data analysis.
Understand the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable, and construct appropriate regression models.
Apply simple and multiple linear regression methods using statistical software.
Analyze and interpret regression results and evaluate the suitability of statistical models.
Utilize regression models for forecasting and supporting decision-making in various practical scenarios.
